Unloved Furniture – Made Happy!

At Made Happy, we don’t like to see unwanted items of furniture taken to the tip and we do our utmost to save the environment. Therefore, we love to transform these items into something someone would love and keep for many more years. To do this we use Eco Friendly Frenchic Paint and below are just a small selection of projects we have completed over the years. View our gallery and Facebook / Instagram page to see more projects. Slide A run down
writing bureau
was transformed
using Frenchic's Greyhound and Copper Frensheen The inside was painted in Frenchic's
Dusky Blush Slide This sideboard was
revamped using
Frenchic's Hornblower
and Browning Wax To give it the WOW
factor, we added a
contrasting wallpaper
inside the cupboards. Slide This large sideboard was painted in
a 50:50 mixture of Frenchic's Loof
and Hornblower. To add some pizazz,
we decoupaged the drawer fronts
and added funky new door handles. Slide This kitchen was dark and boring.
A splash of Frenchic's Swankypants
on majority of the units with Dusky
Blush on a small section totally
brightened everything up. These
colours along with Dazzle me were
also used on the wall tiles.
The result was a clean, fresh and
welcoming kitchen.

Scared or have no time to upcycle your own furniture?

Having life commitments such as a job and family, can leave you with no time to complete your own painting projects. Or you may just not want to do it yourself for some reason. Then pop over to our commission page where you can see that we carry out commissions. But it must be said, that many people find upcycling therapeutic and rewarding.
